Help those in need with your time and smile!

University people should be responsible citizens with a healthy concern fro the problems of other people and a generous spirit which brings them to face these problems and to resolve them in the best possible way. -- St Josemaría Escrivá, Conversations with Msgr Escriva

Kam Him Centre offers opportunities for volunteer work and service projects in order to contribute to the betterment of the community both in Hong Kong and overseas.

Outreach activities in Hong Kong include visiting the elderly, feeding the homeless and teaching underprivileged children.

Overseas projects are organized under "Youth for the Community".

YouthCom is a yearly social outreach project that provides leadership training and service-learning opportunities to inspire a greater understanding of solidarity and social responsibility. Students who join as volunteers go to an overseas community where they serve the needy, meet new friends, and learn teamwork. It is also an opportunity for cultural exchange.

Previous social outreach projects have been organised in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Mexico, Taiwan, Mainland China and Vietnam.
